Knuckle Deep and Two Minutes Short
I did stand up the other night at a comedy club. I was expecting to get five minutes and I ended up gettting only three. My set wasnt rapid fire jokes, it was about a single topic, then joking about the topic i was presenting. So, I had to figure out how to cut out two minutes from an act that was tailored to be five minutes. To top it off, the act was about child molesters, a topic that does need some explaining I feel before just jumping in. I cut out the very beginning of my act and began at the middle, which my the time I ended I still had a minute left. I learned a big lesson that night.
